The biggest challenge with this project was filing through the mock-up file and finding the exact layers that actually mattered. Usually, I feel like mock-ups are simpler and only has like 1-10 items in them. It was also challenging to find photos that I wanted to use because I either didn’t have access to them or they were too low quality. That being said, I decided to do a bus wrap featuring IU football team in leu (how do you spell this) of our recent victories. I filled a gradient in illustrator and then added a half-tone texture in photoshop. I decided to play with perspectives and make the “T” in DAUNTLESS to go above the player’s leg. For the back of the bus I filled it in the darkest color of the gradient and then positioned the half-tone texture accordingly. For the back, I thought it would be fitting to use the football helmet logo.
