Two secret service agents carry President Trump on the south lawn of the White House.

WASHINGTON-Responding to mounting questions about why the President has not been observed walking on his own in weeks, White House press secretary confirmed Monday that the president is now being carried everywhere, at all times, by two Secret Service agents, insisting that the practice demonstrates “unmatched vigor and strength.”

“Make no mistake, there is nothing weak about a leader who refuses to place a single foot on the ground,” said Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, saying that the sight of the president having his arms between two agents on the South Lawn was not cause for concern but rather proof of his “alpha status.” “Only a truly powerful president can command the constant, 24/7 support of two humans who hoist him with grace and precision. When world leaders see him held aloft, they don’t think, ‘weakness’, they think, ‘God, I wish I had that kind of authority.’’

“The White House rejects the outdated notion that strength equals walking. Walking is for the weak,” Leavitt added. “Strength is never having to touch the floor again.” “From now on this will become a trend across the United States and around the world.”
