This project reimagines NASA entering the film industry with Eclipse Protocol, a psychological sci-fi thriller directed by Stanley Kubrick. The story follows a NASA crew who uncover an alien-built structure manipulating the Sun, forcing them to confront a truth that could end humanity.
The poster combines the bold geometry of NASA’s “worm” logo with Kubrick’s minimalist 1960s aesthetic. I used deep blacks, fiery oranges, and NASA red to evoke power and mystery, and photographed a real light reflection for the Sun’s texture. The final design blends realism and imagination to reflect both NASA’s scientific legacy and Kubrick’s cinematic vision.
